Please welcome on the homepage of the Sabre Fencers Crew (Sabre FC)!

This site was created to collect all the people from Hungary and abroad who has ever been a professional or hobby fencer and still interested in sabre fencing. We are not a professional club just a circle of friends who were professional fencers winning several National-, European- and World Championships. Some of us practice as a fencing jury in Hungary and one of us, Balázs Lontay has participated the Beijing Olympic Games and ready for the gold in London. Go, Balázs, Sabre FC is behind you!

Anyway, the membership and registration of Sabre FC is totally free! Our aim is just to practice our favourite and most attractive type of fencing which is sabre fencing. We believe that this sport gives a sabre fencer Nobility, Honour, Respect and Tradition. Let’s be true to these principles and join us!
Our mother club where most of us has started the profession is BVSC (Sport Club of the Budapest Railway), a prestigious club raising dozens of European-, World- and Olympic Champions in all the three fencing styles: sabre, foil and epee.

Please welcome every fencer and ex-fencer who is interested in some action. You can find us at the fencing club of BVSC (Budapesti Vasutas Sport Club – Sport Club of the Budapest Railway) between 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.  every Friday. Please bring your equipment with you, because unfortunately we cannot offer you any yet.
